The New Clinic is now settled into an efficient routine. Consulting times are still longer than most other clinics, allowing one hour for initial consultation and treatment followed by 45 minutes for further treatments. Patients comments suggest that we continue these longer treatment sessions as they make for a less stressful and more personal form of treatment. It also allows leaway for the occasional early and late patient. You can now pay with Visa, Mastercard and Switch.

Walking Pains

Jamie and a fellow Osteopath recently completed the "Three Peaks Challenge", flying to Glasgow and driving to Ben Nevis, Scafell and finally Snowdon in three days certainly makes you aware of the discomfort of uphill and downhill terrain over a variety of surfaces. Thus gaining a first hand knowlege of the effects on the body and likely problems we encounter with our walking rambling and hiking patients. So if you need advice before undertaking your walking holiday or treatment afterwards we are well experienced in this area:

About Posture and Pain

Do You have an ache or pain that prevents you training or doing the things you enjoy? If you do then you may benefit from consulting our clinic.
The participation in sport nearly always brings to the forefront previous imbalances in the body.

Sports training

However the reality is that lifestyle and occupation has had their toll and the body needs to be re-educated.

Injuries?

If you suffer from regular injuries which prevent you from getting the best out of your sports or life, there may be an underlying cause.

Imbalances

Perhaps your occupation has caused a developed and unbalanced posture which predisposes you to injury in particular joints, or some muscles maybe working harder than others.

Postural Analysis

Whatever the cause you can benefit from a postural analysis, treatment and guidance on how to prevent future injuries.

Improvements

Many patients have been surprised that with treatment and correct guidance their achievements have taken them to much higher levels within their chosen sport.
